About me
Jennifer Chung is a dedicated educator, currently serving as the Acting Vice Principal at a private independent school in Hong Kong. With a career spanning over a decade, Jennifer has made significant contributions to shaping global-minded students and fostering academic excellence in an engaging environment.
Before her current role, Jennifer held several key positions which demonstrate her expertise and commitment to education. She was the Head of Department for Global Perspectives, where she introduced the subject to her school and cultivated students' critical thinking skills and global awareness. As the IB CAS Coordinator, she also guided students in their personal growth and community engagement, while critically reflecting on their learning experiences.
Jennifer is also actively involved in the World Scholar’s Cup, a global academic competition which encourages students to think ‘outside the box’ and challenges their learning by exploring issues from multiple perspectives. Her commitment was recently recognized when she was awarded the prestigious title of the World Scholar's Cup Coach of the Decade.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has strived to create supportive learning environments where students can blend academic rigor with real-world applications. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, cultural understanding and continuous improvement in educational practices.
